The Core Issue: Difficulty Getting Started in Creative Tasks
Across both my survey and interview findings, one consistent issue arose that Many learners struggle most at the starting point of creative tasks.
This difficulty is often caused by:
Open or ambiguous briefs
Fear of “getting it wrong”
High emotional or cognitive load at the beginning
Lack of visible examples of the process
This issue affects neurodivergent learners but is also experienced by many others. As a result, designing for neurodiversity here benefits all learners.
A ready-to-use strategy for designing inclusive activities.
